Stockroom Clerk
BSU Inc. is a dynamic and fast-growing Electronic Manufacturing and Design company.
Summary: BSU has an immediate opening for a Stockroom clerk. This position requires good inventory control skills as well as the ability to multitask and to work independently.
Job Duties:
- Electronic part recognition.
- Picking of electrical components needed for production floor.
- Inventory Control tasks such as cycle-counting and replenishment of on-hand inventory.
- Supporting production by providing kits and electrical parts for electronic board assembly.
- Minimal clerical duties may be required, such as generating labels, entering items into the inventory system, entering items onto Excel worksheets, etc.
- Maintaining inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years’ experience in stockroom in a manufacturing environment.
- Expected to read and comprehend process documentation.
- Expected to communicate well in English both verbally and in written format.
- Candidates should be very organized with the ability to keep count of parts.
- Experience in Pick/Pack/Ship or assembly/production experience in a light manufacturing and/or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Experience with common Manufacturing/Distribution Center tasks such as picking, packing, receiving, stocking, and knowledge of related documents and/or MRP operation preferred
- Experience with BOMs, SOPs, and work instructions is preferred
- Knowledge of basic Windows-based PC functionality and the ability to accurately type at a reasonable pace are required.
Education:
- High school diploma.
- associate Degree (preferred).
